russell-brand-charlie-sheen.jpg Charlie Sheen is back and he's going to be angrier than ever. FX announced that Sheen's new comedy "Anger Management" will debut on June 28 with back-to-back episodes.

The series is based on the 2003 film of the same name, which starred Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson, but there are some slight modifications. Sheen will play "Charlie" (of course), a former minor league baseball player who has anger issues. After an unfortunate workplace mishap involving a baseball bat, Charlie goes back to school to become a therapist.

The series also features Selma Blair, Shawnee Smith, Daniela Bobadilla, Michael Arden and Noureen DeWulf. The network has ordered 10 episodes of the program.

Another hotly-anticipated series, " Strangely Uplifting" featuring actor/comedian Russell Brand, will premiere at 11 p.m. on June 28. The late-night talk show has Brand discussing the news of the day, ranging from politics to pop culture.

These two shows sandwich the return of a couple of other FX faves. "Wilfred" kicks off their second season that same night at 10 p.m. and will feature Robin Williams as a guest star. At the 10:30 slot, the Emmy-nominated "Louie" begins its third season.
