"Game of Thrones" creator George R.R. Martin's ALS Ice Bucket Challenge might be the best yet, if only because he is one of the few celebrities to not be able to handle the entirety of the bucket of ice water that is poured over his head. Seriously, the noise that emits from the fantasy author in the above video is one of the most hilarious things we've heard during this entire charity event.

Since the Ice Bucket Challenge kicked into high gear on July 29, $70.2 million have been raised for the ALS Association as of Aug. 24. By comparison, $2.5 million was raised during the same period in 2013. The ALS Association helps people and families affected by amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, and raises money to fund ALS research.

The Ice Bucket Challenge has become a social media phenomenon, and many more celebrities have participated. Look at Zap2it's roundup here.
