Warning: The photo below contains a huge "Game of Thrones" Season 4, episode 2. If you haven't watched it and don't want to be spoiled, turn back now and come back after you've seen "The Lion and the Rose."
Now that the deed has been done and King Joffrey is gone, reactions to his death have spread across the internet far and wide. There is definitely one person nobody thought to check in with, though: Jack Gleeson.
After playing Joffrey since the beginning of the series, what would Gleeson think about seeing himself die as the character? It turns out, he's taking the loss rather well.
That Instagram photo comes from actor Manus Halligan, who is a friend of Gleeson's if their pictures together are any proof. Gleeson looks rather cheerful standing next to his own corpse, but why wouldn't he be? Joffrey was a menace. Still, there's bound to be a part of him that will miss playing the evil king, just like in one way or another fans will miss seeing him on TV.
"Game of Thrones" airs Sundays on HBO at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
