HBO released several new photos from "Game of Thrones" Season 4, episode 2, "The Lion and the Rose," and they prove that Joffrey Baratheon and Margaery Tyrell do in fact walk down the aisle in the episode.
While that plot point isn't surprising, seeing Joffrey share a kiss with Margaery is enough to make us want to throw up. Joffrey is so easy to hate and Margaery is so easy to cheer for, but the two of them locking lips -- or Joffrey kissing anyone? Gross!
Viewers know Joffrey makes a terrible king, but will he also make a terrible husband? At least Margaery knows how to play Joffrey, so maybe she really is the perfect match for the most hatable character on TV.
The synopsis for the "Game of Thrones" Season 4, episode 2 reads: "Tyrion lends Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) a hand. Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) and Margaery (Natalie Dormer) host a breakfast. At Dragonstone, Stannis (Stephen Dillane) loses patience with Davos (Liam Cunningham). Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) finds a purpose for his pet. North of the Wall, Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) sees where they must go."
"Game of Thrones" airs Sundays on HBO at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
