game-of-thrones-telltale-games.jpgWith "Destiny" set to hit store shelves on Sept. 9, Bungie writer Joshua Rubin is heading over to Telltale Games to work on the video game publisher's new title"Game of Thrones."

"It's a privilege to be working on Telltale's 'Game of Thrones.' I am such a massive fan of the HBO show!" he writes on Twitter. "[David] Benioff and [D.B.] Weiss have set an incredibly high standard for writing. I'm inspired by their work every season. I'm gonna have to up my game!"

Rubin has an established history in the video game sphere, working as lead writer for both Capcom and Visceral games and writing the "Assassin's Creed II" script. With "Destiny" shaping up to be one of the biggest Next-Gen games, it's exciting that such a talented writer will be lending his skills to Telltale's highly anticipated new title.

Few details are known about "Game of Thrones," but chances are it will be similar in style to Telltale's critically acclaimed "The Walking Dead" game. It has been revealed that the video game will be point-and-click and released episodically. No release date has been set.
