"Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington might be best known for his work on the small screen as Jon Snow, but he's certainly making a dent in the world of film as well. Reports say that he's made it to the short list of actors vying for the part of Reed Richards in Fox's upcoming "Fantastic Four" reboot.

Variety cites sources who say that Harington, as well as "300: Rise of an Empire's" Jack O'Connell and "The Spectacular Now's" Miles Teller, are the three likely candidates for the role of Mister Fantastic. As for the role of Sue Storm, "House of Cards'" Kate Mara and Saoirse Ronan are both contenders for the role.

Though there aren't any names listed for the part of Ben Grimm, "Fantastic Four" director Josh Trank reportedly is still hopeful his "Chronicle" star Michael B. Jordan will take the role of Johnny Storm.

"Fantastic Four" is due out on March 6, 2015. Simon Kinberg was recently hired to pen a rewrite of the script. Production is expected to begin in early 2014.
