The Wrap reports that Coster-Waldau is in talks to star as Horus, god of the sky, who joins forces with a human thief and the goddess of love to avenge the death of his father. Alex Proyas ("I, Robot," "Dark City") is directing for Summit Entertainment.

Coster-Waldau, better known to "GoT" fans as "Kingslayer" Jaime Lannister, is currently filming the comedy "The Other Woman" opposite Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann and recently wrapped "A Thousand Times Good Night" opposite Juliette Binoche.

He was also on screen this year opposite Jessica Chastain in the horror sleeper "Mama" and with Tom Cruise in the sci-fi film "Oblivion."
