'Game of Thrones' Season 2 deleted scenes: The Hound confronts Sansa, Irri's death and more
Four fantastic deleted scenes from Season 2 of "Game of Thrones" have been released that add some context to the motivations of characters going into Season 3. From murder to illicit love and everything in between, these scenes definitely do not show off the characters' best sides.
Up first, fans get to see the scene where it is first revealed that Doreah has turned on Daenerys. Irri goes up to check on her Khaleesi, but finds the dragons missing instead. Doreah strangles her to death while explaining that she once heard that "the greatest pleasure comes with a silk cord around the neck." Sexy or terrifying? You decide.
Then there's Loras, continuing to mourn the loss of the late Renly Baratheon. His sister Margaery lectures him about his grief and says she needs him now. Whether or not he stands by her in Season 3 is yet to be seen, but our money's on him being too lovesick to do much of anything.
Up next is The Hound's confrontation with Sansa Stark in the halls of the Red Keep. Fans of "A Clash of Kings" will recognize this scene, and those of you who aren't should just enjoy seeing Sansa have a backbone for once.
Lastly, Littlefinger and Varys trade barbs once again, and this time Petyr Baelish definitely comes out on top. After Varys taunts him about his move to the cursed Harrenhaal, Littlefinger goes after his man parts -- or rather, lack thereof.
