"Game of Thrones" Season 4 filming is already underway, but the show keeps adding new cast members. The latest to join the HBO fantasy series is "Treme" alum Michiel Huisman (above left).

The Hollywood Reporter has the news, though the site doesn't officially know who Huisman is playing. According to THR's sources, though, Huisman might not be playing a new character at all. Instead, it's being said that he will replace Ed Skrein (above right) and portray Daario Naharis, Daenerys' new love interest who was introduced in Season 3. HBO could not confirm Huisman's role to Zap2it.

If the TV series stays true to the books, Daario will continue to have a place in Dany's storyline going into Season 4. Huisman at least has one telling resemblance to how Daario is described in the George R.R. Martin novels: he's frequently seen sporting a mustache. Unlike Skrein's portrayal of the character, Daario was always described in the novels as having gold-painted mustachios, hair dyed blue and a beard split into three prongs, as can be seen in the middle image above.

Huisman is best known for his work in "Nashville" and in "Treme." If he's not playing Daario Naharis in "Game of Thrones," it will be interesting to see which of the few remaining uncast characters he's been selected to portray. "Game of Thrones" Season 4 returns to HBO in Spring 2014.
