'Game of Thrones' Season 4: HBO GO fails again after 'True Detective' issues

game-of-thrones-hbo-go-fails-again.jpg You'd think that after the issues HBO streaming site HBO GO suffered during the "True Detective" finalem the brass at the network would have fixed all the bugs or upgraded the servers.

But nope, "Game of Thrones" fans were appalled to find out that once again, the streaming site couldn't handle the amount of traffic trying to watch  the Season 4 premiere.

On Sunday (April 6), "Game of Thrones" fans took to Twitter to post images of their screens stuck on loading landing pages, unable to watch the highly-anticipated Season 4 premiere. HBO even tweeted out that users were experiencing "trouble in the realm." Yeah, that's an understatement:

Hours after the premiere, HBO released a statement:

"HBO Go did experience issues due to overwhelming demand around the premiere of 'Game of Thrones,'" the statement says. "The service has returned to several platforms and we are working hard towards full recovery, which we expect soon."

Come on, HBO, how did you not see this coming? This was avoidable.

All men must die, but all "Game of Thrones" fans should get to watch the season premiere as soon as it's available, right?
