Sansa Stark went full gothic heroine at the end of "Game of Thrones" Season 4, and now the actress who plays her, Sophie Turner, is doing the same.

Per Deadline, Turner will star in the new film "Mary Shelley's Monster" as "Frankenstein" author Mary Shelley. Also starring in the movie are Jeremy Irvine as Mary's husband, Percy Shelley, and Taissa Farmiga as her stepsister, Claire Clairmont.

"Mary Shelley's Monster" comes from Rose Ganguzza, the same producer that backed 2013's "Kill Your Darlings." Ganguzza tells Deadline, "Our film is not a period drama. It is a story of youth that transcends time, a gothic romance, a love triangle that involves a dark passenger and we are tremendously excited to have such an exciting cast onboard this wonderful project."

The movie envisions Mary as a teenage writer who enters into a "Faustian bargain with her own 'monster' of an alter ego." Ganguzza promises it's "the story of the most extraordinary 19th century teenage heroine told in a visceral, sexy, contemporary way."

In addition to her time on "Game of Thrones," Turner also stars in the upcoming films "Barely Lethal" and "Alone."
