'Game of Thrones' and 'The Brady Bunch' opening credits video from 'The Wil Wheaton Project'

Here's a story ... Those famous first words of "The Brady Bunch" theme song could easily apply to many shows. But is "Game of Thrones" one of them?

As this rather incredible video from "The Wil Wheaton Project" shows, the answer is very much yes.

For reasons that are best left unexplained, Wil Wheaton and whatever evil geniuses he has working behind the scenes decided that the "Game of Thrones" theme isn't quite up to snuff when it comes to explaining just what the heck is going on in the epic fantasy.

It works -- and not just because the Lannisters and the Brady women share some similarities when it comes to golden locks.

Even with the strange choice to have Tyrion play the role of Alice in this parody, the "Brady Bunch"/"Game of Thrones" mash-up truly is a thing of beauty.

"The Wil Wheaton Project" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Syfy.
