George Clooney organizes Haiti telethon, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donate $1 million

The star mobilized at a party for "Up in the Air" on Wednesday night, asking Sting on the spot if he would perform. Sting merely asked, "Where do I go?"

Clooney has gotten MTV to agree to air the show on all their stations and has secured Joel Gallen, the man behind the Sept. 11 telethons, to produce the Haiti fundraiser.

Meanwhile, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie announced that their foundation is donating $1 million to Doctors Without Borders, whose hospitals were leveled by Monday's earthquake.
