George Michael sustains head injury from car accident
George Michael has been hospitalized following a crash on the M1 highway. The singer is said to have sustained a head injury, though fortunately no other vehicles were involved.
A spokesman for Michael says that he was a passenger in a Range Rover when the vehicle crashed near St. Albans, Hertfordshire. The rep tells BBC that Michael sustained "superficial cuts" and is "fine," though he remains in a hospital.
"The exact circumstances of what happened are unclear at this time and until further investigations have been carried out it would be inappropriate for us to comment further," a police spokesperson tells BBC. It's unclear if alcohol or a drug was involved. No arrests have been made at this time.
