Bravo's 'Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce' has a fake CW show that totally sounds real

marti-noxon-girlfriends-guide-to-divorce-tca-gi.jpgBravo will roll out its first scripted series in years, "Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce," in December. It comes from former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" executive producer Marti Noxon -- and it includes a shout-out to her old show, in a way.

In a teaser Bravo showed at the TV critics' summer press tour Monday (July 14), friends of lead character Abby (Lisa Edelstein) tell her they think her husband (Paul Adelstein) might be cheating on her with "a CW actress."

"It's very specific in that way," Adelstein says.

Noxon says the show gets even more detailed than that, though, giving the actress a fake show that sounds very much like it could actually be on The CW. Here's the pitch:

"The CW show we created for her to be on is called 'Blood Sisters,'" Noxon says. "She plays twin sisters, and one is a vampire slayer and one is a vampire."

After Zap2it jokingly asked if she's pitched the show to The CW yet, Noxon replies, "We've already broken the first episode."
