'Glee' lands post-Super Bowl spot
FOX has given the coveted spot following the big game to the musical comedy "Glee," according to an announcement of the network's upcoming 2010-2011 schedule Monday (May 17).
When asked whether the show was a good fit with the super Bowl XLV crowd, FOX programming chief Kevin Reilly said that the audience is so big that the show will get huge numbers regardless, adding "I don't think 'Grey's Anatomy' was a perfect fit a few years ago, and that worked out pretty well."
Hmm, will we see Kurt ( Chris Colfer) reprise his "Single Ladies" performance? We can only hope.
"Glee" returns in the fall for its sophomore season, moving to the earlier 8 p.m. slot on Tuesdays. After its hiatus and the "very special" Super Bowl episode, it will come back for its spring premiere on Wednesdays, following "American Idol."
