'Glee': Matthew Morrison to perform 'Still Got Tonight' on season finale

glee-paley-morrison.jpg "Glee" is all about the cross-promotional love, so it comes as no surprise that Matthew Morrison's character, Mr. Schuester, will perform a single from Morrison's solo album on the May 24 season finale.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Morrison will sing "Still Got Tonight," a ballad co-written by "American Idol" season 8 winner Kris Allen, Andrew Frampton and Steve Kipner. Mr. Schue will reportedly sing the song alone on an empty stage during the show's New York-set finale.

Series creator Ryan Murphy, who directs the scene, had no problem including one of Morrison's songs.

"It worked because we wanted to do a scene where Matt goes into a Broadway hall and sings something alone," Murphy tells THR. "Plus, Matt is such a great team player and he's done so much for different Glee charities. We worked really hard to make it feel organic to the show."

Morrison apparently liked it so much that the scene may end up being re-used as the official video for the song.
