'Glee': McKinley High recruits new football coach

The athletics department at "Glee's" McKinley High School has a lot of strong personalities with Sue Sylvester ( Jane Lynch) and Ken Tanaka ( Patrick Gallagher), but in season 2, they'll get another.

TV Guide reports that actress Dot Jones recently secured the role of the school's new football coach. Jones, no stranger to Ryan Murphy projects, was previously cast in his unsuccessful pilot "Pretty/Handsome" and appeared in three episodes of "Nip/Tuck." Most recently, she's had a recurring role on "Hawthorne."

This doesn't bode well for Ken. Unless McKinley is launching a women's team -- not likely, given the school's perpetually strained budget -- the current coach is either getting a replacement or an adversary on his own staff. And given Jones' real-life status as a champion arm wrestler, it might not be much of a contest.
