'Glee's' Darren Criss heads to Broadway; What does that mean for Blaine and Kurt?

darren-criss-wayfarers-gett.jpg Darren Criss first became internet-famous by playing Harry Potter in his "Very Potter Musical," which went viral before he ever set foot on the "Glee" set. Now, he's got another Potter connection -- he'll be replacing Daniel Radcliffe on Broadway in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying."

Radcliffe's contract expires January 1st. Criss will step in as J. Pierrepont Finch, a window washer with big dreams at the World Wide Wickets Company in NYC, until January 22. It will be Criss's first Broadway appearance.

So what does Criss's NYC sojourn mean for his "Glee" character, Blaine, and the romance with Kurt ( Chris Colfer)? Probably nothing. While Criss may miss a couple of episodes, "Glee" may be able to work their shooting schedule around his absence so that we don't notice it at all.
