Go Daddy ditches the 'sexy' factor in new Super Bowl commercial

The first Super Bowl commercial Go Daddy has released in 2013 is not the one fans might have been expecting. Though the company has an ad featuring Bar Refaeli and Danica Patrick that will air on game day (Feb. 3), this new one focuses on what Go Daddy as a company is all about.

This ad shows a bunch of people around the world talking about how they have an original idea for a website, but its point is that they all have the same idea. Go Daddy primarily acts as a web hosting company and an internet domain registrar, so the concept here is that the people who register their brilliant ideas with them first are going to be the ones who end up rich like the man at the end.

Go Daddy has become known for its sexy Super Bowl commercials since its first ad ran in 2005. It probably is smart to start playing up what the company is all about instead of only emphasizing all the sexy ladies Go Daddy can gather, as the previous ad campaigns have been a bit fuzzy on that subject.

This isn't the only company to have unveiled its Super Bowl commercial early. Kate Upton's Mercedes-Benz ad, Amy Poehler's Best Buy commercial and the latest Volkswagen ad have already debuted.
