Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrell, and their "Modern Family" castmates were super bummed over losing out to "Girls" at the 70th Golden Globe Awards.

Vergara tweeted a photo of the group in tears -- fake tears, of course -- with the caption, "Yeah we loose [sic] this time."

"Modern Family" won the Golden Globe in 2012 for Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy. This time around, the honor went to HBO's "Girls," whose creator and star Lena Dunham also took home Best Actress in a TV Comedy.

Vergara was also nominated this year in the Best Supporting Actress category for a TV Show, Miniseries or TV Movie, but "Downton Abbey's" Maggie Smith took the prize.
