'Good Wife's' Julianna Margulies on 'ER,' 'The Waltons' and more TV shows
Julianna Margulies of "The Good Wife" is gracing the cover of Vanity Fair's annual television issue. In the above behind-the-scenes video, she talks about when she knew "The Good Wife" was a hit and how she wasn't really allowed to watch TV growing up.
"After the first official season [of 'The Good Wife'], I realized that we were gonna go for a few more," says Margulies. "After the first six episodes, we started realizing people were actually watching. and the critical acclaim started coming in, but you never know if it's a hit."
"I wasn't allowed to watch much television growing up. One year, we had a TV in our house and we were allowed to choose between 'The Waltons' and 'Little House on the Prairie.' I chose 'The Waltons,' that was my favorite show," she continues.
"The last time I watched an episode of 'ER,' oh my goodness. A full-on episode was probably the last episode I did, where George Clooney comes, or I go to him, and we ride off into the sunset together ... oh no, I'm sorry, then we both came back for a reunion and I watched that episode," says Margulies.
"The Good Wife" airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
