'Gossip Girl' inspires clothing line: Would you wear it? More importantly, would Serena?
This time, Warner Bros. has tapped Romeo & Juliet Couture to design pieces inspired by Serena, Blair, and the rest of the Upper East Side Gang. (None of these clothes are inspired by Jenny. We're sure of it.)
The tops, dresses, outerwear, and more will retail for between $80 and $200, so they're still far too cheap for the Van Der Woodsens, but you won't be able to buy them at the same place where you buy your toilet paper, so it's a step up.
"The entire collection was inspired by the modern and sophisticated young women portrayed in the show Gossip Girl," says David Shamouelian, CEO of Romeo & Juliet Couture in a statement. "The designs are intended to empower young, independent women to embrace their feminine side and still maintain their strength."
What do you think of the designs? Will you take a look when they hit stores like Kitson, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue this fall?
