'Gossip Girl' peek: Serena and Nate back at it

gossip-girl-chace-crawford-blake-lively-320.jpg "Gossip Girl" finally returns in March, and the pictures that the CW released give us a hint of what's to come ... some of it expected.

But first, let's revisit what happened when last we left "Gossip Girl" on the episode "The Debarted."

Spoiler alert! Just in case you haven't caught up yet.

Serena
(Blake Lively) was in a car accident with Trip (Aaron Tveit) who had decided he wanted his old picture-perfect life back ... but with Serena as his dirty little secret mistress. Also,  Rufus (Matthew Settle) discovers the secret Lily's (Kelly Rutherford)been hiding, Jenny (Taylor Momsen) owes Damien (Kevin Zegers) big time for scoring her much-needed cash, Dan (Penn Badgley) confesses his love for Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) and Chuck (Ed Westwick) sees a mysterious woman (Laura Harring) by his dad's grave.

Back to the present. In the episode "The Hurt Locket," Nate (Chace Crawford) and Serena decide to explore their friendship more since he's been so loyal despite the fact she was just with his brother. Isn't this what started all your troubles at the beginning of the series?

gossip-girl-chace-crawford-blake-lively-350.jpgJenny agrees to go be Damien's escort to a State Dinner. Somehow, she's surprised when he views this as an opportunity to use her for yet another drug exchange. Oh, come on, Little J!
