Comedian Nathan Fielder scared quite a few parents April 24 When he asked his over 50,000 Twitter followers to send a simple text message. "Experiment: text your parents 'got 2 grams for $40' then right after 'Sorry ignore that txt. Not for you' Then tweet pic of their response," he tweeted. Almost instantly the star of Comedy Central's "Nathan For You" started receiving responses (Some of which are pretty vulgar) from people who followed through with the request.

The responses from parents ranged from scared, to clueless, to just disappointed, with one mother writing "I'm so dissatisfied with what ur turning out to be." One follower told Fielder that her mom confided in a colleague that her daughter had a drug problem after the text, and now has to explain it was a joke. "Your fault," Nathan jokingly replies.

This isn't the first time Fielder has done a prank experiment involving parents on his Twitter account. He previously told his followers to text their dads, asking, "Will dollar-store condoms work the same as regular brands?" The results were about what you'd expect.
