The AP reports that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has sent a pro forma letter to Khloe Kardashian that tells the reality star the logo on the "Liberty" t-shirt in their clothing line may be violating copyright law.

"The State of New York has invested substantial time, effort and resources creating the respect and goodwill associated with the trademark," states the letter, according to the New York Daily News.

The logo on the Liberty t-shirt does bear more than a passing resemblance to the Pride of New York logo shown above. Both contain the Statue of Liberty and rows of crops, with similar fonts.

Reportedly, if Kardashian and Odom do not respond with five days, the state of New York will sue. The letter demands the sale of the t-shirts be stopped and that the company report how much it has made off of said shirts.
