Grammys 2012: Adele is back, y'all!

Adele-Grammys.jpgWell color us thrilled! Adele, the lady with the golden pipes is back! Her performance of "Rolling in the Deep," a song which won Song of the Year at the Grammys was stunning, especially considering she is just back from vocal surgery to remove a ruptured vocal polyp.

She started it out a cappella and blew us all away with her vocal power. There was one scratch in her voice, but it was hardly a bump in the road. She may have looked a bit nervous at the beginning, but by the end, she had everyone not only howling for her (apologies to the Black Keys), but giving her a standing ovation that went on for an uncomfortably long time.

She spoke about her voice on "60 Minutes" earlier and said she felt like she's better than ever. Speaking in terms of her vocal placement, it's a definite difference from earlier live performances, focused in the correct place. Congratulations to you, song bird. We're glad to have you back. More breakup songs, please!
