The 2014 Grammy Awards came to an end with Daft Punk winning the Album of the Year award for "Random Access Memories." But the odd spacemen and their collaborators also got in a shout-out to "Same Love" by Macklemore, Mary Lambert and Ryan Lewis when accepting the big prize.

Naturally, the two French people who wear spacesuits at all public appearances didn't say a word. They left the talking to their friends and collaborators Paul Williams, Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams. It was Williams who gave the shout-out to the song that had just been performed during a mass wedding conducted by Queen Latifah.

How could Daft Punk ignore something like that?

In other Album of the Year news, Taylor Swift did not win, even though the singer had an unfortunate reaction when she misheard the beginning of "Random Access Memories" as "Red." Whoops.
