Sandra Oh still remains to be the only departing cast member of "Grey's Anatomy," as two of the series veterans have just signed new deals.

Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey have inked new two-year deals with ABC, keeping Meredith and Derek at the center of the medical drama for Seasons 11 and 12, TVLine reports.

While keeping around the two leads that kicked off the series back in Season 1 is good news for the series, this doesn't mean that "Grey's Anatomy" has been renewed. The series is still waiting on word from ABC on a possible Season 11, though this new deal is certainly a good sign.

Also a good sign? The fact that execs want it to stay around "for many years to come."

There is also still no word on the status of the rest of the original cast members -- Justin Chambers, Chandra Wilson and James Pickens Jr. -- whose contracts expire at the end of Season 10. Will they stay with Pompeo and Dempsey, or leave with Oh?

Are you happy that Meredith and Derek will stick around Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital?
