'Grey's Anatomy' losing Tessa Ferrer, Gaius Charles for potential Season 11

gaius-charles-tessa-ferrer-greys-anatomy-abc.jpg Sandra Oh isn't the only one leaving "Grey's Anatomy" at the end of this season. Tessa Ferrer and Gaius Charles are also departing the ABC medical drama at the conclusion of Season 10, Deadline reports.

The two series regulars are not getting their contracts picked up for next season (which is still not officially renewed, although due to Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey's new two-year deals it is likely).

Both Ferrer and Charles joined "Grey's Anatomy" as recurring characters in Season 9 with Camilla Luddington and Jerikka Hinton. They played interns Leah Murphy and Shane Ross, respectively, and have since been promoted to series regulars as residents on the show.

No word yet on their co-stars Luddington and Hinton's status for the potential Season 11, or how Ferrer and Charles will exit the show onscreen. Are you sad to see Leah and Shane go?

"Grey's Anatomy" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
