Warning: the following article contains major spoilers from the "Grey's Anatomy" Season 10 premiere ...

Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital said goodbye to one of their own Thursday night (Sept. 27): intern Heather Brooks (Tina Majorino) died as a result of trying to help former-Chief Webber and got electrocuted. Though Derek and the rest of the doctors tried to save her, she didn't survive her brain surgery. RIP Mousey, we hardly knew ye ...

So why was Heather the one to die? Back in June, all of the new interns on the long-running ABC series were upgraded to series regulars, except for Majorino. The actress already booked a series regular role on TNT's Howard Gordon drama, "Legends." Plus, she's slated to reprise her role as Mac in the "Veronica Mars" movie. With a schedule like that, it's hardly surprising Majorino exited "Grey's Anatomy" ... it was only a matter of how Mousey would leave onscreen.

Were you shocked that Heather was the one to die in the Season 10 premiere, or were you expecting it to be her because of her previous commitments?
