It is so on when Grimm returns March 8.

Nick ( David Giuntoli) finally learns the truth about Renard ( Sasha Roiz) -- not only that he's a royal but has stolen the heart of his girlfriend, Juliette ( Bitsie Tulloch).

"This had to come to a head -- we didn't want to play it out forever," executive producer David Greenwalt told reporters today (Jan. 6) at the TCA press tour. "It is [Nick's] girl Renard is messing around with -- albeit under a spell."

"I was very excited to finally have a confrontation," Roiz said. "It's going to be a powder keg. It's a lot of fun to work with David on a whole other level now that he's in the know."

"It finally all comes to a big angry kerfuffle, to resurrect a word," adds Giuntoli. "It comes to blows. He has a bit of a height advantage on me, but I had a rage advantage."

"There's a tremendous amount of stuff going on, in addition to the kerfuffle between these handsome men," reveals Tulloch. "There was also a sort of bedroom scene that was so intense that it required a stunt coordinator and hours of rehearsal, which 'Grimm' has not yet done. Which is really, really fun and crazy."

(You can see a brief tease to the bodice-ripping scene in the new promo for "Grimm's" midseason premiere.)

"[Juliet is] really starting to lose her mind," laughs Tulloch about her character's confused amnesia. "It's really trippy and kind of fabulous."

Fortunately, Rosalee Bree Turnerwill be coming to her rescue.

"I do go back to Portland just in time in regards to Juliette's condition," observes Turner about Bree's return after caring for her ailing aunt.

That's also good news for Rosalee and Monroe's ( Silas Weir Mitchellbudding romance.

"Monroe and Rosalee are snuggling into the spice shop," says Mitchell, but emphasizes that the focus is "really about the love triangle. Monroe helps where he can and tries not to break things."

"Grimm" returns Friday, March 8 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
