Though he's on his way to becoming one of the biggest movie stars on earth, with "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Jurassic World" both headed to theaters, Chris Pratt can't wait to return to "Parks and Recreation" and play Andy for one last season.
"I was doing 'Jurassic World,' but we wrapped at 2 a.m. in New Orleans, so I'm ready," Pratt tells Zap2it at the "Guardians of the Galaxy" press junket. "I'm so excited. I've been pitching [co-creator] Mike Schur jokes. We've got some really good stuff brewing."
What's going to actually be happening when the show returns is anyone's guess. At the end of Season 6, time jumped forward three years to find Leslie running a very busy National Parks Regional Office. "It's going to be a whole different show," Pratt says. "We're going to be in the national forest office walking around sleek like the f***ing 'West Wing'."
In reality, what ends up happening to Andy may be closer to what was seen in the finale. "I think I'm probably going to be babysitting triplets the whole time," he jokes. "I'll be doing it with Aubrey, we'll be chilling, hanging out with kids. She'll be probably casting spells on them and I'll be like, 'You can't do that, they're kids!'"
Whatever happens, it's definitely going to be an interesting journey. "Parks and Recreation" returns in spring of 2015 and "Guardians of the Galaxy" is in theaters Aug. 1.
