Gucci Mane arrested for threatening police, drugs, gun possession
Gucci Mane just can't escape legal trouble.
The rapper was arrested early Saturday (Sept. 14) for allegedly threatening police in Atlanta while in possession of weed and a gun, TMZ reports.
Gucci Mane -- real name Radric Davis -- was taken into custody at 12:05 a.m. after one of his friends complained to cops about his erratic behavior. The friend approached the police to help out but Gucci Mane began "cursing and threatening them."
According to the site, he was immediately taken into custody and police found a small amount of marijuana as well as a handgun on him. The 33-year-old was charged for carrying a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct, and marijuana possession.
Gucci Mane was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
This is not the first time the rapper has been in trouble with the law. He was sued back in August by a concert promoter for pulling double-duty concerts and breaching his contract, as well as having multiple counts of aggravated assualt, battery, drugs and weapons charges, and traffic violations on his record.
