Guns N' Roses Dublin: too many bottles drives band off the stage
Guns N' Roses were bottled by offstage by fans Wednesday night (Sept 1) at the Dublin O2 venue.
They had to leave the stage after playing for just 20 minutes. Why was the audience so angry?
Seems Axl Rose's band were over an hour late onstage for the performance, reports EW. During 'Welcome To The Jungle', Rose stopped the song and addressed the crowd about the bottle-throwing.
"If you don't want to have fun, all you've got to do is let us know," he said. "We've got no problem - we'll go on our way." Three songs -- and a couple more bottles -- later, they bailed. According to the BBC, the bottles were not glass. They were plastic.
