Guy Fieri testifies about stolen Lamborghini in Max Wade trial
In March of 2011, Fieri's yellow Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder was stolen from the dealership where he'd taken it for repairs when someone rappelled through a window at the dealership using an elaborate rope system, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Authorities later traced the crime -- along with several other automobile thefts and an attempted murder of two teens -- to Wade.
The "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" host was the final witness in the trial, which a jury is now deciding. Fieri's time in court was brief, according to the Marin Independent Journal. He acknowledged the car belonged to him, and he hadn't given permission for Wade or anyone else to use it.
"I was pretty amazed," Fieri told reporters outside court before his testimony. "You hear about cars getting stolen. You never hear about a car getting stolen from a dealership."
