Gwyneth Paltrow's 'Country Strong' CMA Awards 2010 performance: What do you think?

cma-gwyneth-paltrow.jpgOscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow took on a brand new role on Wednesday's Country Music Association Awards.

In support of her new movie, "Country Strong," she got on stage to perform the title song in her first-ever CMA performance.

Though it was clear that she was a little bit nervous, and her voice faltered a couple of times, we have to give Paltrow credit where it's due. She definitely didn't make a fool of herself, and she proved that she can stand up to plenty of today's most popular country artists. We're guessing she made her musician hubby, Coldplay's Chris Martin proud.

We wouldn't go looking for a record deal anytime soon, since the acting thing seems to be working out just fine for her, but she's definitely shown her versatility. Plus, she looked hot doing it! She fits right in with blonde country bombshells Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, and Miranda Lambert.

Let us know in the comments if you give Paltrow a thumbs up.
