Halle Berry could be heading to TV -- at least if she gets her way. The actress is reportedly attached to a spec script called "Higher Learning" currently floating around pay cable networks, including Showtime and HBO.

Berry, an Academy Award winner, previously enjoyed one of her more iconic roles on cable TV, starring in HBO's "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge" in 1999. [ Deadline]

Eliza Dushku ( "Dollhouse") may or may not be appearing on the "Torchwood" online series "Web of Lies" this summer, but if you want a guarantee of seeing her, look no further than "White Collar." The actress will appear in the ninth episode of the upcoming Season 3, working for Matthew Keller ( Ross McCall) and quite obviously flirting with Neal Caffrey ( Matt Bomer). [ THR]

NBC's midseason drama, "The Firm," may finally have its lead. Josh Lucas ( "Sweet Home Alabama") is reportedly in final talks to play Mitchell McDeere, a role made famous by Tom Cruise in the 1993 film adaptation of John Grisham's best-selling novel. The series picks up Mitchell 10 years after the events of the original. [ Deadline]

For Season 2 of "Raising Hope," veteran TV actress Cloris Leachman will be promoted to series regular. (She was billed as a special guest for the freshman run.) Creator Greg Garcia says they'll continue to give her special billing in the opening titles, though, adding "... and introducing Cloris Leachman as Maw Maw." Hilarious. [ TV Guide]
