'Halt and Catch Fire' episode 8 pic: Why are the cops at Cardiff?

halt-and-catch-fire-episode-8-toby-huss.jpgThe description for Sunday's (July 20) episode of "Halt and Catch Fire" says that "Bosworth makes a sacrifice for the good of the PC program." Judging by the photo above, that's probably an understatement.

The picture, which you're seeing first on Zap2it, shows a police officer leading Bosworth (Toby Huss) out of the Cardiff Electric offices with his hands behind his back -- presumably because they're cuffed. And you'll notice the guy on the right with "FBI" on the back of his jacket -- that can't be good.

AMC's logline for the episode, titled "The 214s," also says that "scandal rocks Cardiff Electric as the team finalizes preparations for COMDEX," where it will unveil its portable computer. It's likely that the scandal is related to whatever happens to Bosworth.

You can see how the threads connect when "Halt and Catch Fire" airs at 10 p.m. ET/PT Sunday on AMC. Go here for a first-look clip from the episode.
