'Hannibal' casts Hugh Dancy as FBI agent; Jennifer Beals and Paula Marshall join 'Widow Detective'

NBC's "Hannibal," the drama series rebooting Thomas Harris' "Red Dragon" characters Hannibal Lecter and FBI agent Will Graham, has cast Claire Danes' husband Hugh Dancy, who was last seen on "The Big C," as Agent Graham. The titular character has yet to be cast. [ Deadline]

USA's political drama "Political Animals" has cast the ex-husband of lead character Secretary of State Elaine Barrish ( Sigourney Weaver). The ex-husband is a former president who has tumbled in popularity and still holds a candle for Barrish. He has been cast with Ciaran Hinds, who has recently been seen on "Rome" and in "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy." [ TV Line]

Aly Michalka has been removed from FOX's comedy "Rebounding," starring Will Forte as a man recovering from the death of his fiancee with the help of his pick-up basketball game teammates. Michalka was supposed to be the younger girlfriend to one of the teammates, but the character is going to be revamped to be the same age as the guys. [ Deadline]
