Harbaugh brothers haven't spoken since Super Bowl XLVII
John and Jim Harbaugh recently faced off in Super Bowl XLVII, John as the coach of the winning Baltimore Ravens and younger brother Jim as the coach of the losing San Francisco 49ers. John appeared on "The Late Show with David Letterman" Thursday night (Feb. 8) and told Dave that the two haven't spoken yet since the big game.
"We have not had a conversation since. We will, soon," says Harbaugh. "I'm hoping sometime soon. We have meetings coming up, we have a combine in two weeks."
Letterman asks if there's animosity and John says no. But he adds, "There's no consolation, there's no way that you console your brother. Anybody who has a brother knows that. It doesn't work."
When asked which of them is the favorite, John laughs and says, "I felt like JIm was the favorite pretty much our whole ... Jim felt like he was the favorite, but in truth, Joani, our sister, was truly the favorite. The little baby girl."
Dave quips, "Where does she coach?"
For the record, she doesn't -- but she's married to Tom Crean, the head coach of Indiana University's men's basketball team.
