Harold Camping predicts end of the world is Oct 21
No big deal or anything, but here is your friendly reminder that Friday (Oct. 21) is the end of the world. So you know, get your things in order and make sure you have some clean clothes ready.
Harold Camping, voice of the Family Radio Network and doomsday enthusiast, famously swung and missed with his prediction that Judgement Day was coming this year on May 21. Billboards boldly announced the date and reminded the devout to pray and prepare and what not. May 21 came and went rapture-free, but that isn't keeping Camping down!
"...the end is going to come very, very quietly probably within the next month...by October 21. Probably there will be no pain suffered by anyone because of their rebellion against God...We can become more and more sure that they'll quietly die and that will be the end of their story."
Uplifting stuff. And it's good to know that there will "probably" be no pain suffered. So go ahead and eat all the ice cream in the freezer, cause it's just gonna go to waste after Friday. See y'all on the other side!
