'Harry Potter' pothead sentenced

Jamiewaylett_290 "Harry Potter" bully Jamie Waylett has avoided jail for his horticultural activities.

The 20-year-old British actor was sentenced to 120 hours of community service for growing marijuana plants in his mother's home in London, reports People.

Back in August, Waylett and a friend were found with eight bags of pot inside their car. A search of Waylett's mom's home uncovered 10 cannabis plants growing under a hydroponic light that was sitting next to a PlayStation console.

He certainly didn't learn that in Professor Sprout's class!

The judge on Tuesday decided that 10 plants was considered "small scale," and thus decided against jail time.

In the Harry Potter films and books, Slytherin bully Vincent Crabbe uses his superior strength but inferior brain to be one of Draco Malfoy's (Tom Felton) minions who makes life hard for Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and his Hogwarts pals. His father is a Death Eater.
