"Haven" Season 5 is going to be a super-sized, two-year season on Syfy, but could that also mean that the show is ending after those episodes? According to star Eric Balfour, that could very well be the case.

"Nobody at the network's said that, but we are viewing it that way," Balfour tells TVLine recently at the Saturn Awards. "The writers are of the opinion that you don't get the opportunity to see the finish line very often on a television series. So knowing that we have the ability to sort of plan for that -- and we have two seasons to do it, it's not like it's tomorrow -- I actually am of the opinion that I hope we do it, because I would love to give the fans a real ending and honor the show that way."

Balfour also points out that the producers are considering shooting two different endings for Season 5 -- one that allows "Haven" to continue and one that wraps up the story in a satisfying way.

Whether "Haven" is looking at the end or not, at least fans don't need to worry about saying goodbye until 2015 at the earliest. Season 5 is currently in production and is expected to premiere on Syfy late in 2014.
