'Healing in the Heartland': Miranda Lambert's emotional performance of 'The House That Built Me'

miranda-lambert-healing-in-the-heartland.jpgOklahoma native Blake Shelton organized "Healing in the Heartland," a relief concert in conjunction with NBC to raise money and supplies for the residents of Moore, Okla. after the deadly and devastating tornado that destroyed their town on May 20.

There were the biggest names in country music on hand to perform, including Shelton's wife Miranda Lambert, who took to the stage to perform her 2010 single "The House That Built Me," which has a certain poignancy in the wake of so many losing their homes and only being left with the memories.

Lambert was overcome with emotion, managing to make it through the first verse and chorus before becoming too choked up to sing. The audience cheered and carried the lyrics for her until she regained enough composure to finish.
