'Hellboy' star Ron Perlman makes a wish come true for young boy

ron-perlman-hellboy-make-a-wish.jpgJust like his "Hellboy" character, Ron Perlman may have a tough exterior, but he's a real softie inside.

Through the Make-a-Wish Foundation, which serves children with life-threatening medical conditions, Perlman recently granted a young boy's request to meet Hellboy.

The actor (who plays a real baddie in "Sons of Anarchy") met the fanboy, Zachary, at the studios of special-effects company Spectral Motions. The Oscar nominees for Best Make-Up for their work on Perlman's "Hellboy 2: The Golden Army" transformed both Perlman and Zachary into the heroic demon with full makeup.

As Spectral Motion recounted on their Facebook page:

"Zachary loved his visit for two very special reasons. It was Zachary's wish to meet Hellboy and also to become Hellboy...Ron loved the idea and donned the makeup once more...and also ordered a Hellboy sized meal of burgers, shakes, and fries for Zachary and his family and the entire Spectral crew to enjoy."

Hellboy and hamburgers? Sounds like a helluva day!
