'Hellcats' first look: Ciara performs 'Gimme Dat,' makes Robbie Jones swoon

ciara-hellcats-320.jpgA Ciara appearance directed by Debbie Allen? "Hellcats" has hit the musical jackpot with next week's episode, "Land of 1,000 Dances." Series star Robbie Jones certainly agrees with us.

"Robbie has such a crush on Ciara," co-star Heather Hemmens teased at a recent press event. Now Zap2it has your first look photos from the episode, in which Ciara plays herself as the judge of a dance competition that Lewis (Jones) and Alice (Hemmens) enter.

Jones doesn't Hemmens' crush allegations as he praises Ciara's work on the show. "First of all: gorgeous," he says. "She's super sweet and she actually used to be a cheerleader, which is fantastic. She came into this excited... and she can act. She was really humble and gracious abotu everything."

Ciara will perform her single "Gimme Dat" on the show. Her moves impressed even the seasoned dancers who work on "Hellcats" every week. "A fantastic dancer," Hemmens says. "I mean, she came on the set and tore it up in front of all of our dancers. Everybody's jaw was on the floor. She's so talented and just makes it look so effortless. Very very sexy and fun young woman. We were like sisters!"

Executive producer Kevin Murphy says that he'd be thrilled to welcome Ciara back for an encore performance any time. "We really didn't know what to expect because none of us had met her," he says. "I had just one creative phone conversation with her. She came and hung out on set. We didn't know if she was going to be someone who was going to like, disappear into her trailer, but she was just there, laughing and joking and really being a part of the family. She and Debbie Allen got along like a house on fire. It was wonderful. I'd be happy to have her back."

Check out the photos below and be sure to tune into "Hellcats" tonight at 9 p.m. EST. In this week's episode, sisters Aly and AJ Michalka perform Bob Dylan's classic "Mississippi" together.
