Harper has joined the cast of USA's "Covert Affairs" for its fourth season. He'll play a CIA station chief in Latin America who's eyeing a move up the agency ladder in Washington. He wants Annie ( Piper Perabo) and Auggie ( Christopher Gorham) to help him in that effort, but they're wary of his real intentions.

Season 4 of "Covert Affairs" is set to premiere in the summer.

Harper has played coroner-turned-investigator Sheldon Hawkes for the entirety of "CSI: NY's" nine seasons on CBS. The show is on the bubble for renewal for a 10th year and is ending Friday after a slightly shortened 17-episode run this season. New drama "Golden Boy" will take its place on Friday nights starting March 8.
