Hoda Kotb had a bit of an oops on Thursday's (Sept. 5) "Today Show." She and friend Kathie Lee Gifford host the fourth hour of the morning program and during one segment, she accidentally showed her personal cell phone number on the air.

All the shenanigans start in the above video at about the 5-minute mark, when the ladies are showing off some watch phones. Hoda uses her watch phone to call herself and the number pops up on the watch face. Oh, Hoda.

Within minutes, she has over 20 voicemails -- "Hoda, you have a lot of fans. And a couple of prisoners," Gifford cracks. Later on in the show, Gifford reveals that Kotb had already received over a thousand text messages.

At least Kotb is in good humor about the whole kerfuffle. She's been tweeting, "ring ring --- hellloooooooo. my personal phone has exploded. by the way...fun chatting with you guys on the horn today-- (mom wondered why she couldnt get thru!! haha)"
