Mom-to-be and former Playboy Playmate Holly Madison is in hot water with neighbors in a Las Vegas gated community over the huge pink house she built for her canine babies: Louis, Napoleon and Josephine.
Holly tells Las Vegas Weekly she hired a contractor to build a "human-sized" doghouse in her backyard, and he consulted with the home owner's association about restrictions. Since the structure had to match the architecture of the home, Holly had the roof built to match her own since that portion could possibly be seen from the street.
The trouble is, she painted the exterior pink, and that's what has her neighbors seeing red. "My thought is, if you can't see anything in my back yard from the street," says Holly, "then who is peeking in my back yard?"
Madison says she's been receiving monthly fine notices over the doghouse. "It's a hundred dollars a month, or something like that," says Holly. "I haven't been paying it. I just keep sending them nasty letters."
Not to worry, though. The neighbors will soon be able to live freely without a pink doghouse in their 'hood, as Holly and future baby daddy, Pasquale Rotella, are planning a move to the Rancho Circle neighborhood of Vegas. "It's the cutest neighborhood, and I love how close it is to downtown," Holly says. "It's quirky and old."
Sounds like the perfect place for a giant pink doghouse. Now what is Holly going to build for her human baby?
